Description |
For large symphony orchestra. This package includes full score and all parts.
"Chorale," composed between April 5 and 18, 1992, is bordering on tonality, as its key is never determined for longer than few successive bars and (sometimes) dissonant chords. Although it starts with short leading tune in D minor (first two measures) and ends in F minor, as it progresses slowly, it frequently oscillates between different keys, with plenty of accidentals, tonal and atonal chords.
Originally also voices of male choir was intended (in fact, it was created on MIDI instrument simulating chorus in its entirety), but idea was dropped later on when piece was finally orchestrated on November 3, 2011, and is represented here in its current form and instrumentation. |
