Description |
"Christmas Carol" in its first sketch version was created on December 14 and 15, 1987, while corrected second version (with its current ending) was composed in October 1988. My desire in creating that piece was to emphasize joy of Christmas "spirit," create my own carol song in character similar to other well known traditional Christmas carols (it is no coincidence that it was originally conceived and written just before Christmas that year).
In its original version, only melody with harmonic structure and most important counterpoint voices existed in that original sketch, without any lyrics and no choir to sing them. Only after final version of the piece was adapted and its orchestration completed in July 2011, English lyrics were finally created by me and inserted in September 2012.
Package includes full score and parts. |
